BO’NESS UNITED MATCH SUMMARY SEASON 2026/2027

Date – Saturday 07 November 2026

Competition – Lowland League

Bo’ness United 3
(Nimaga 26, Murdoch 37, Mitchell 43)

Dunipace 1
(Docherty 14)

Bo’ness United won all three points in the clash with Dunipace but had to fight all the way to achieve the victory. Dunipace looked dangerous in the first twenty minutes and took the lead when Bo’ness lost the ball, allowing Dylan Tennant to run forward, passing to Alan Docherty whose low shot from the edge of the box found the net just inside the post. Bo’ness looked to respond and equalised thanks to a Roan Fitzpatrick cross that was headed in by Hamza Nimaga. Shortly after Dunipace thought they had taken the lead but as they celebrated it seemed to take an age but the assistant eventually raised his flag to signal offside. As it turned out Bo’ness scored next with a run and cross from Hamza Nimaga slammed home by Robbie Murdoch. Just before the break the BUs extended their lead, Dunipace keeper Lewis McMinn blocking a Robbie Murdoch shot only for Kieran Mitchell to follow up to fire into the net.

At the start of the second half Alan Docherty came close for Dunipace while Bo’ness Keeper Allan Fleming pulled off a number of significant saves to preserve the two goal margin. As the game moved into the final phase Bo’ness were required to defend in depth with only the occasional foray up front and with no further scoring it proved a successful day for the BUs.
