Following conjecture and misinformation regarding ticketing for Saturday’s match against Rangers we would like to clarify the position of both clubs.
Rangers contacted us earlier in the week to confirm that under the current Scottish Government guidelines they are only allowed a capacity of 300 at Dumbarton. We collectively share our disappointment at this situation.
Rangers have kindly provided 40 complimentary tickets to Bo’ness for the game while directors will also be able to access the boardroom. The remaining 200 tickets have been made available to purchase on Rangers website. It is important to clarify that these restrictions mean it is difficult to accommodate Bo’ness fans due to government restrictions and Rangers would have been delighted to welcome Bo’ness fans had the capacity allowed. Rangers share our disappointment that this not possible at this time. Rangers have been up front and strong in their communication with our club. Hopefully this clarifies the matter and we look forward to the game at the weekend.
